Model history

The "Sportspack" model is very popular in the Mini scene. It is the latest and most powerful version of the classic Rover Mini. This vehicle has a standard 4-cylinder injection engine with 63 hp, original wheel arch extensions, original Rover Mini 13-inch rims with 175 tires, Euro 2 technology, an immobilizer and an alarm system. The characteristic green paintwork as well as the bodywork with four additional headlights and the partial leather interior make the Mini Cooper "Sportspack" a coveted collector's item today.

Known defects

• Jack mounts (typical Mini) are dented - driver's side needs to be done soon as the sheet metal is cracked (has been glued so far, so it is still tight).
• The front windshield frame has a small rust bubble at the bottom - but it doesn't go through.
• Front driver's side mudguard (below the blinker) has a rust blister.
• Passenger door with a rust spot at the bottom
• Wheels should be removed and balanced. From approx. 90 km/h they start to bounce slightly.
• The veneer on the dashboard (speedometer) is peeling off at the sides and should be replaced (no impairment of function).
• Signs of wear on the fuel filler cap
• Various minor paint defects (see pictures)
• Small tear in the passenger seat
• Chrome parts with age-related traces
• Engine damp with oil
• Rust in the driver's side turn signal area on the fender
• Driver's door with rust at the bottom.
• The vehicle was once lifted in the wrong place with the lift (front driver's side floor panel) and has damage as a result, which was not repaired professionally and needs to be done.
• In the previous ownership, the hood opened while driving. As a result, the hood, fenders and A-pillar had to be repainted or replaced.
• Further Mini-typical weak points in the area of the triangular sheet metal, trunk floor, the mounting points of the rear axle frame, end plates in the wheel arches, hinges of the trunk lid show slight rust.
